The client had one thing in mind, a single beautiful slab of live-edge wood.

After searching around we located a stunning single slab of beech, a wood which is very hard wearing and stable, making it ideal for a dining table top. To not distract away from the beauty of the slab, black resin was used to fill any cracks/imperfections.

We supported the top on a pair of very sturdy U-shaped legs, which steel and finished with a black powder-coating.

The result of this order lead us in creating a whole new line of dining tables to add to The Woodyard Ockeridge family…and The Ockeridge Living Collection was born. As a thank you to the client and using an offcut from the slab, we created a one-of-a-kind candle holder and is shown in some of the photos below.

The table measured: 2.2m (L) x 90cm (W) x 71cm (H) and can comfortably seat 8 people.
